Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24.5.2026

Headache Detective ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our iOS application Headache Detective (the "App").

Data Collection & Storage

The App stores all of your headache entries – including pain levels, triggers, symptoms, notes, and timestamps – exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers.

HealthKit

With your explicit permission, the App can write headache samples to Apple Health (HealthKit). This data is written directly to HealthKit on your device and is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not read any HealthKit data beyond what you choose to write, and we never transmit HealthKit data off your device.

Siri & Shortcuts

The App integrates with Siri and the Shortcuts app via Apple's App Intents framework. Any voice commands you use to log headaches are processed by Siri on your device. We do not receive or store voice recordings or shortcut interactions.

Internet & Networking

The App does not communicate with any external servers. It has no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting frameworks, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The App functions fully offline.

Data Deletion

You can delete individual entries at any time from within the App. To delete all data, uninstall the App. Core Data entries and any HealthKit samples you chose to write will be removed when the App is deleted.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
